Join MAK Technologies Simulation Solutions division! We are seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.  The job is located in the Research Park area of Orlando, FL.

Work with the business development team to develop a portfolio of programs in the Simulation area. The right individual will be responsible for collecting and analyzing opportunity data in the DoD, DHS, and adjacent markets in support of a diverse set of customers and programs, and sharing it with the business development team. The successful candidate must possess experience using databases such as GovWin and Sam.gov. They must also have experience with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools such as SalesForce. The candidate will be required to understand the simulation portfolio in order to provide preassessment on opportunities for relevance.

Roles and responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing Data or Information — Identifying the underlying principles, reasons, or facts of information by breaking down information or data into separate parts.

  • Establishing and Maintaining Interpersonal Relationships — Developing constructive and cooperative working relationships with others and maintaining them over time.
  • Organizing, Planning, and Prioritizing Work — Developing specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish your work.
  • Updating and Using Relevant Knowledge — Keeping up-to-date technically and applying new knowledge to your job.
  • Making Decisions and Solving Problems — Analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems.
  • Documenting/Recording Information — Entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form.
  • Identifying Objects, Actions, and Events — Identifying information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events.
Basic Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in business intelligence, data mining
  • Ability to conduct independent initial evaluation of technical requirements for relevance
  • Must have a current and active Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Simulation domain expertise
  • Understand the DoD & DHS simulation marketplace
  • Working knowledge of U.S. Government procurement policies and regulations
  • Technical acumen
